We have realized more than ever in the last year how many amazing friends and family members we have and how spoiled we are! 3 of my girlfriends from Carrollton gave me and Baby Harper a shower at the end of February and it was so fun and cute. She is seriously going to be one spoiled little girl and definitely not lacking in the fashion department!! A few of my friends live a little further away but they all drove in including Shellie from Tyler…I really am SO lucky!!! Here are some pictures from the shower.

2 of my friends from our church group gave us a super fun couples shower a few weeks ago and it was a lot of fun. Coby and I have not been the best at being social in our ward yet...I guess you could say we were still playing the newlywed game haha. We were surprised at how many people showed up for the shower...they made us feel SO welcomed and it was so fun getting to know all of them!
Last Friday we had a work shower at my office (put together by my wonderful co-worker Desiree and a few others)...and it was amazing! We had good food, amazing desserts, and great company...and some really cute outfits for Harper! My department also gave us our Pack N Play which was SO nice and I love!! We set it up this weekend and I even tested it out with Lizzie. She was a good sport but you could tell she was NOT amused haha. Harper officially has somewhere to sleep when she is first born until she moves in to her crib.
This Friday Coby's office is having a shower as well. We are TRULY so blessed and so grateful for everyone who is a part of our lives and all the fun experiences we’ve had in the last year! We are so excited and ready for this sweet (hopefully sweet haha) baby girl to HURRY UP AND GET HERE...only 20 more days.
As a side note, we went to the dr. last Tuesday and sadly I'm was only dilated to 1cm so hopefully he'll have better news for me tomorrow than he did last week. As much as I would LOVE to be done being pregnant I want her to be as healthy as possible and I have a few more work projects I’d like to close off before I’m out for so long so… guess we'll wait another week and see :).
I know this is easier said than done, but enjoy these last few weeks with your little one snug inside you. I remember people telling me this when I was preggo with my first and I thought, "Yeah right! I'm miserable. Pop this boy out!" but they were right. Once she gets here, it'll all be about her, and while that's wonderful, it is exhausting. Take some time to pamper yourself for a bit. Get a manicure/pedicure. . .something fun for yourself because once she's here free time is so hard to find.
