The Nursery is OFFICIALLY complete!!! 14.5 more weeks to go....

Well....here it is...the final product!  Now I just need to work on finding a few cute picture frames and a cute pink lamp for the dresser/hutch and we're good to go.  Now it's time to sit back and relax!!!!
Cute little door sign I bought for the room on Etsy...LOVE me some Etsy!!!

View of the majority of the room from the entrance...

Coby and Me in the room right after finishing it...I've come to accept the fact that I am NOT a cute pregnant person so this will probably be the ONLY pregnant picture that I post :).

Changing table...Grandma Cathy (my mom) sewed the pink liners for the baskets for an accent and to make them even cuter!

Cute little vinyl letter saying that Coby picked out for the baby room: ).

Our best purchase...THE CRIB!  We bought a crib on craigslist when we first found out we were pregnant.  It's about $1,000 crib we got for $200.  It is as sturdy as they come and converts in to a toddler bed and regular bed.  It looks BRAND NEW after the paint job we gave it!!
The lettering I made over Thanksgiving break...

Nana Judy bought this for Harper for Christmas...every baby needs their little snuggie they sleep with!

Dresser/Hutch...the procelain dolls were made from scratch by my grandmother growing up...figured the nursery would be the best place for them.
Coby's personal contribution to the baby room...a toy jeep.  He's decided he wants a jeep for fun so he's trying to get Harper to vote for it instead of against it like I did for now.

Aunt Jackie gave Harper this book...and from the looks of Coby's personal contribution to the baby room...I think this book will be a good investment!

One of my favorite sayings from a children's book I've always loved!  We've decided we're big fans of the vinyl lettering!

View from the other side of the room....

The canvas I had printed for the wall...I was hoping it would be a little larger but it still ended up looking pretty good and matching the room exactly how I wanted!

The full side view of the room...

The puppies wanted to participate in the decorating as well...this is Mister Darcy and Elizabeth Bennett for those of you who don't know them : ).

My guilty pleasure is little girls clothes!!!  Is there anything cuter in life???  I waited until Black Friday and Cyber Monday and got a STEAL of a deal!  I bought a bunch of the skirts and stuff on Target.com for $1.50!!  I bought mostly 6-12 Month clothes since those last the longest but if I don't get some smaller sizes...little Harper is going to be naked coming home from the hospital haha.  I need to start investing in some bows and shoes!! (I'm not a fan of the TEXAS SIZED BIG MASSIVE BOWS but I do love a good hair bow!)

THAT'S A WRAP!!!

  1. I love it. My favorite part is the bookshelf and the vinyl "love your forever" with the butterflies strewn through. Beautiful, beautiful! I'm so glad things worked out this way Megan, you are going to love being a mom and Harper is lucky to have you!

  7. Way cute room! I love all the decorations and girls clothes are the best (and worst)! I find myself going to look for boys clothes but after like 2 minutes I've made my way over to the girls with a ton of clothes in my arms. You look great by the way!
